This film follows K-12 students at the Alabama School for the Blind, where blind and visually impaired students have been educated to be in charge of their lives. Sequences include mobility training, braille instruction, traditional classroom education, psychological counseling, vocational training, staff dealing with student disciplinary problems, and the wide variety of recreational and athletic programs.
